FINAL ADVERT
Each aspect of the advert aims to create star image expectations of the music video. For example, a lack of consistent star image in fact exaggerates his status; much like Kanye, he is too big to bother with small reassurances of his presence in the music industry. The colour scheme, ranging from golds to deep blues, represent royalty. This is a dramatic hyperbole of his star image.
The image of stars themselves in the city skyline background are an explicit symbol of how famous our artist is.
These intentions are reflected in the music video narrative, which is essentially the artist living a day in his life as a star. This is made obvious by key locations such as recording studio, dance studio, meeting room. Therefore the advert ensures the audience that the video will have a 'flavour', so to speak, of stardom.

The advert created by the group uses conventions highly proficiently and there is clear consistency amongst all your other products through the use of lighting, colour, typography, layout and images. I know some time was spent with colour manipulation and created a logo/frame that could be featured within other products so your artist becomes ‘a brand’. You portray the American Rap/Hip-Hop genre in a conventional manner where often there is no artist appeal, just reputation and egotistical characteristics of the artist which you illustrate well here.
