FINAL DIGIPAK
Each aspect of the digipak aims to create star image expectations of the music video. For example, a lack of consistent star image in fact exaggerates his status; much like Kanye, he is too big to bother with small reassurances of his presence in the music industry. The colour scheme, ranging from golds to deep blues, represent royalty. This is a dramatic hyperbole of his star image.
These intentions are reflected in the music video narrative, which is essentially the artist living a day in his life as a star. This is made obvious by key locations such as recording studio, dance studio, meeting room. Therefore the digipak ensures the audience that the video will have a 'flavour', so to speak, of stardom.
The digipak created by the group uses conventions highly proficiently and there is clear consistency amongst all your other products mainly through the use of lighting and colour, images and the logo/frame which is something I know the group planned for. Technical and creative elements are included well and should be highlighted, for example the hand drawn sketch of the skull on the front cover and the ICT manipulation of spelling your artists name on the coin. Good artist representation presented within the product.
